Role Overview
The Senior Systems Analyst provides highly advanced functional configuration, technical support, and consultative services for a statewide Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platform (PeopleSoft FSCM version 9.2). This role acts as the primary subject matter expert for the Asset Management (AM) module, overseeing setup, categorization, depreciation, capitalization, retirement processing, and integrations with Purchasing, Accounts Payable, and General Ledger modules. Operating with high independence, the analyst gathers business requirements for large projects, manages batch schedules, and coordinates cross-functional support across state agencies.

Key Responsibilities
Asset Management Module & Functional Support
• Serve as the primary functional subject matter expert for the Asset Management (AM) module, managing module coordination, production support, and issue resolution.
• Manage end-to-end AM functional configurations, including business units, asset profiles, books (corporate, tax, and reporting), and depreciation rules.
• Oversee capitalization, construction-in-progress (CIP) processing, asset transfers, adjustments, retirements, and physical inventories.
• Configure and maintain core system controls, including transaction codes, system codes, security roles, accounting entries, and ChartField setup.
• Lead the functional design phase by creating and reviewing Functional Design Documents (FDDs) and implementing standard features like Page and Field Configurator, Drop Zones, and Event Mapping.
Asset Management Module & Functional Support
• Serve as the primary functional subject matter expert for the Asset Management (AM) module, managing module coordination, production support, and issue resolution.

• Monitor, track, and tune AM batch jobs to detect failures, manage task dependencies, validate output, and ensure compliance with schedule modifications.
• Navigate and manage system tools including PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM), Change Assistant, Fluid UI, and Elasticsearch.
• Utilize PeopleSoft developer and reporting tools, including Application Designer (records, fields, pages, components), SQR, SQL queries, BI Publisher, and SAP Business Objects, to support functional operations.
• Monitor, track, and tune AM batch jobs to detect failures, manage task dependencies, validate output, and ensure compliance with schedule modifications.
• Navigate and manage system tools including PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM), Change Assistant, Fluid UI, and Elasticsearch.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Service Support
• Provide Level 2 Service Desk support, managing complex ticketing, advanced troubleshooting, and system configurations in coordination with Tier 3 managed services.
• Facilitate collaboration across a large network of state agencies to gather requirements, document enhancements, and synchronize ticketing systems (ServiceNow, BOSSDesk).
• Support integrations between AM and other core modules, specifically Purchasing, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, and legacy financial systems.
• Provide structured cross-training to junior analysts and comprehensive application training to agency end-users.
• Coordinate fiscal year-end planning, communications, reconciliations, and system maintenance.
• Provide Level 2 Service Desk support, managing complex ticketing, advanced troubleshooting, and system configurations in coordination with Tier 3 managed services.

• 10 or more years of hands-on experience utilizing PeopleSoft developer and reporting tools, including Application Designer, Integration Broker, SQL/SQR, BI Publisher, and SAP Business Objects.
• 10 or more years of experience performing functional and system configuration changes and working directly with the core Asset Management module of PeopleSoft FSCM version 9.2.
• 8 or more years of experience managing, monitoring, and troubleshooting scheduled batch jobs within automated workload management tools.
• 8 or more years of experience applying security best practices, NIST standards, and multi-tenancy configurations within an enterprise ERP instance.
• 8 or more years of public sector experience directly working for or supporting a large network of 30 or more state government agencies.
• 8 or more years of experience developing and managing enterprise strategic roadmaps using cross-functional communication and planning.
